As team members of the Emergency Communications Center, we will proficiently respond to every call for help from all patients worldwide, communities we serve, other departments and field personnel. The needs of the patient will always be our first priority. We aspire to operate with compassion providing the highest quality service and the most cost-effective means of transportation. Through diligence, education and research we commit to continually improve our operation and hold in the highest esteem the standard set forth by the Mayo Foundation.

The Communications technicians are highly trained to provide quality service and arrange cost-effective transportation that meets the patient's needs. Safety and patient care is our highest priorities.

To accomplish this, we pledge:

• To provide progressive dispatching to our field crews and pre-arrival instructions to our callers to assist in the preservation of life.
• To participate in training and continuing education to improve our skills.
• To recognize the responsibility we have for the safety of our field personnel and our public.
